Our Story
In the mid-20th century, obtaining quality groceries was a formidable task due to the absence of business leaders tackling this issue. Recognizing this gap, the late Mr. R. Chitharanjan Das embarked on extensive travels across India to study various markets and product availability. Equipped with a clear vision and valuable insights, he established M/s R. Chitharanjan Das - Grocery Wholesale in Kottar, Kanyakumari District. This pioneering effort introduced large-scale, systematic grocery wholesaling to the region. Ever since RCD has been serving numerous retailers across the Kanyakumari and Trivandrum districts. In 1991, Mr. C. Ajoykumar took over the reins, continuing his father’s legacy by fostering organic growth and enhancing profitability. Under his leadership, we partnered with over 250 customers and expanded our offerings to include 80+ unique products and brands.
